MR HAS

A dj/producer from Singapore’s thriving club scene, Mr. Has is responsible for introducing some of the most serious club sounds and setting new standards this side of the globe since he snatched the inaugural Nike Street Style Music Award in 2001. His exclusive night at Phuture (Zouk) from 2003 to 2005 saw him championing the eclectic sound, which was quickly emulated by many around the island. He was then crowned Singapore’s Best DJ.

From the fashion houses of Prada & Dior to the tropical islands of Bali and Puerto Rico, Mr. Has bears the Singapore flag up high with his genre-bending sets. The first Singaporean to be featured on the reputable Red Bull Music Radio & London’s Straight No Chaser, he is at the forefront of the international music scene where he is heard in reputable clubs like subMercer (N.Y.C) & Le Baron (Paris) to name a few.

After spending 4 years as the Music Director with the Lo & Behold Group overseeing their repertoire of bars & restaurants – The White Rabbit, Loof, Tanjong Beach Club & Overeasy, Mr. Has is currently the Artistic Director for W Singapore (Sentosa Cove). A coveted role responsible for keeping a finger on the pulse of music, fashion and design.

On the side, he also runs the digital label – Rawjak, promoting local & international electronica artistes. His debut album – Ten Kingdoms won him the Best Electronic Dance Music Producer of 2010 by Juice Magazine.
